LEGO price index: August 2026
Poland's first monthly LEGO set price index, computed from our own price history across dozens of Polish stores. Updated daily.
In August 2026 we tracked the prices of 1,316 LEGO sets in Polish stores over 31 days with data. The median set price was 149 zł, and the average 250 zł. The median price per piece is 0.33 zł. Sets were typically 29% cheaper than the catalog price (median across a sample of 1,316 sets with a listed catalog price), and 944 sets were on promotion (at least 15% below catalog). Month over month, the median price fell by 0.6% (across the same 1292 sets).

Is LEGO getting cheaper?
LEGO got cheaper: the median price of a tracked set fell by 0.6% month over month, across the same 1292 sets present in both months.
Methodology: for each set we take the average of its lowest daily offer in the given month, and we compute the month-over-month change only on sets present in both months, so a change in the catalog composition does not masquerade as a price move.

Duplo bricks are roughly eight times the volume of a System brick, so these sets simply have fewer pieces for the same money. The zł / piece value is computed the same way as for other themes, but it is not comparable to them, which is why the "System scale" mode keeps it out of that sort.
Retired sets
In August 2026 we recorded data for 5,974 retired LEGO sets, with an average price of 426 zł. Retired sets often rise in value on the secondary market. See retired LEGO sets.
